Heather took a little break, listening to Darren before joining in for the repeat of the chorus. "Yeah, We spend all our time running our lives, going nowhere, it's really something.
Getting busy, doing nothing." She belted closing her eyes, a bit like Rachel Berry. The livestreams were as much fun as they seemed.

Darren laughed quietly when Heather joined back in. "Doin' nothiiing!" He sang but then stopped and let Heather sing the next part of the song.

Heather laughed, carrying on, on her own unfortunately. "Should be working hard, 'stead of lying here naked,the phone rings but I wont take it, Cause you only get one life... only get one life." That was a bit like Heather's attitude to everything 'you only get one life.' She went back into the chorus, taking a quick peak at the laptop, which was overflowing with comments. "We spend all our time, lying side by side, goiing nowhere, it's really something, getting busy doing nothing."

Darren listened intently as Heather carried on with the song. He concentrated on playing the guitar without busting a string. Every time he did a live performance, a sting broke so he was hoping that wouldn't happen.

"We spend all our time, running for our lives, goiing nowhere, it's really something, getting busy doing nothing." Heather sang powerfully, nodding her head a little to the beat. "All our time, doing nothin. All our time, gettin busy doing nothing." She vocalized until the song ended. Heather clapped then, happy with how well it went.

Darren laughed quietly at Heather's excitement and cheered on behalf of the people watching. He grinned. "That was awesome, Heather!"

"Aw shucks!" Heather laughed, swatting her hand in a 'oh stop' gesture. "I definitley want to learn to play the guitar now." She nodded. "You make it look so,so, effortless. I'd drop the guitar." She laughed.

Darren laughed at Heather before turning to the computer beside them. "That was really fun!" He chuckled excitedly. "I wanna sing another song! That okay with you guys?" he looked at the camera quickly before watching the reactions on the laptop.

"Yeah, while I show off my amazing air guitar skills I was telling you about earlier Darren." Heather joked. She saw the word 'Yes' at least a hundred times fly by on the laptop.

Darren laughed again at Heather and then he saw a request fly past on the screen and he grinned widely. He scrolled down to find it once more. "'itslikeanangelsighing' asked me to sing Gotta Get Back To Hogwarts which is um- it's the opening song of my company's musical, A Very Potter Musical. And I really, really wanted to sing this." He laughed.

"You and itslikeanangelsighing might be brain twins." Heather beamed. She made her hands into fists and started bangin, lightly, on the keyboard. "Sing it!Sing it!Sing it!" She chanted.

Darren laughed loudly at Heather before he shifted in his seat ready to play the guitar again. He waited through his friend's chanting, grinning before he strummed the opening chord. "Okay," He stopped again. "This song is like twenty minutes long so I'm not gonna sing it all." He laughed quietly and started again.

He played the introduction before he began singing. "underneath these stairs, I hear the sneers and feel the glares of my cousin, my uncle and my aunt. Can't believe how cruel they are and it stings my lightening scar to know they'll never, ever give me what I want."

"We got time." Heather checked her imaginary watch, excited to hear Darren sing this time. She'd a placed a big, encouraging smile on her face as she watched him starting off. As he started to play, Heather got into the song and started rocking a little in her seat.

"I know I don't deserve these stupid rules made by the Dursleys, here on Privet Drive. Can't take all of these Muggles, but despite all of my struggles, I'm still alive! I'm sick of summer and this waiting around, man it's September and I'm skipping this town, hey it's no mystery, there's nothing here for me now..." Darren played the guitar expertly, playing louder in the break before the chorus.

"I gotta get back to Hogwarts. I gotta get back to school, I gotta get myself to Hogwarts, Where everybody knows I'm cool, back to witches and wizards and magical beasts, to goblins and ghosts and to magical feasts..." Darren, who was completely engrossed in the song, forgot for a while that he was singing live in front of thousands of people worldwide as if he was back in Michigan with the Starkids.

Heather wasn't exactly sure what the song was about, except for the fact that it was to do with Harry Potter and Darren wrote it for his musical. It was really catchy, it sounded good and Darren sang so well, Heather definitley liked it. She bounced a danced a little in her seat, very musical theatre.

"It's all that I love and it's all that I need at Hogwarts, Hogwarts. I think I'm going back." Darren grinned at Heather as he sung the familiar song. Well, kind of familiar. "I'll see my friends, gonna laugh till we cry. Take my Firebolt, gonna take to the sky. No way, this year, anyone's gonna die and it's gonna be-" Darren stopped playing and held up his pinkie and index finger. "-totally awesome!"

Darren started playing the guitar again. "Um..What is it?" He mumbled to himself with a laugh. He played through the next line then began singing on the second. "Defeat the Dark Arts, yeah, bring it on! And do it all with my best friend Ron, cause together we're totally awesome! Yeah, 'cause together we're totally awesome!"

Heather rocked her head up and down, grinning back to Darren. He looked so happy. She laughed loudly at his 'totally awesome' gesture, Heather copied it, bringing it up to the camera and screeching "Totally Awesome!". She sat back down, laughing louder when he forgot his lines.

Darren skipped the dialogue, as he usually did when he was singing alone. "It's been so long, but we're goin' back, don't go for work don't go there for class. As long as we're together, gonna kick some ass and it's gonna be totally awesome!"

"This year, we'll take everybody by storm, stay up all night, sneak out of our dorm. But let's not forget that we need to perform well in class if we want to pass our OWLS! I may be frumpy but I'm super-smart. Check out my grades, they're A's for a start. What I lack in looks, well, I make up in heart and, well guys, yeah that's totally awesome!" Darren sung happily through Joey and Bonnie's parts.

Heather rocked in her chair, mouthing the bits when he said 'Totally Awesome' because she cold guess when they were coming up. She couldn't help but laugh at some of the lyrics, Darren was incredible writer too, was there anything the man couldn't do? (Guessin you'd say no Becca :L)

Darren laughed and shook his head at Heather mouthing totally awesomes every now and again. "This year, I plan to study a lot. That would be cool if you were actually hot. Hey, Ron! Come on, we're the only friends that she's got." Darren sung the latter line in a stage-hushed tone. "And that's cool, and that's totally awesome!"


[well, actually, I'd say yes because a) you misspelled can't or could not and b) he can't spend a day without ruining another fangirl's life <3]

Heather laughed at Darren saying 'We're the only friends that she's got.' quietly. She knew that if she was in the audience when the show was going on she'd be pissing herself laughing, even harder than she was now.

"We're sick of summer and this waiting around; it's like we're sitting in the lost and found. Don't take no sorcery for anyone to see how, we gotta get back to Hogwarts, we gotta get back to school, we gotta get ourselves to hogwarts, where everything is magicoool. Back to witches and wizards and magical beasts, to goblins and ghosts and to magical feasts. It's all that I love and it's all that I need at Hogwarts, Hogwarts. I think we're goin' back. . ." Darren nodded his head and rocked his entire upper body to the beat.

'Magicool' Heather laughed and shook her head at that, It was so cheesy, yet so funny. She rocked like Darren did, smiling at him getting so into the song.

Darren grinned at Heather until he couldn't remember what came next, then he tilte his head to the side slightly, playing the guitar during his forgetfulness. It only took a few seconds and hey, it wasn't his part to sing. So what if he wrote it? "Cho Chang, dono arigato, Cho Chang, gung hey fat cho chang, happy happy new year, Cho Chang." He sang, higher than usual. He played and read the dialogue in his head quickly before slowing down the strumming on his guitar and bringing his singing voice back down to normal. "Cho Chang, I am so in love, with Cho Chang, from Bangkok to DingDang! I'll sing my love aloud, for Cho Cha-ang!" Darren sped up the strumming in the quick break between parts. "This year, you bet, gonna get out of here! The reign of Malfoy I drawing near! I'll have the greatest wizard career, it's gonna be totally awesome! Look out, world, for the Dawn of the day when everyone will do, whatever I say an Potter won't be in my way and then I'll be the one who is totally awesome! YEAH YOU'LL BE HE ONE WHO IS TOTALLY AWESOOME!" Darren glanced at Heather with an apologetic expression, it really was a very long song.

Heather laughed at him, forgetting his lines, but waited patiently for the next part, like she imagined all his fans watching did. She didn't really get the part about 'Cho-Chang' so she just sat looking confused for awhile. It was a bit confusing, even though Darren changed voices for different people, Heather smiled the whole time though and swatted about his apoligetic look.
