'Cause baby you're a firework!

The cast; other than Lea had just performed born this way. Everyone could hear Lea rock the stage singing firework and most people were doing funny little dances. Dianna was doing the ironically called 'Dianna dance' that she had done in the dressing rooms last week and hadn't realized Naya had recorded it. Naya was doing the Naya dance and Kevin had gotten up from his wheel chair and was copying her. Everyone behind the stage was having a laugh and singing along to firework.

Darren sat relatively calmly, watching his castmates rock out to Lea's rendition of Firework. By relatively calmly, I mean he wasn't dancing or skateboarding or jumping around. He listened intently to Lea's voice and lip-synced the words, making hand gestures like he assumed "Rachel Berry" would be doing onstage right now. During a break in the lyrics, Darren saw Riker, another of the Warblers, get to his feet and try to copy Dianna's dance. He laughed quietly.

Dianna looked and saw Riker come and join her doing the 'dianna dance' She laughed and looked around to where the big piece of paper with big, black letters were printed on it telling them the song line-up in case they forgot. She saw it was teenage dream next and smiled, she loved this song. She sorted her hair out before continuing to do her dance. She saw some of the warblers get into place and stopped the dance. Most peoples dances had died down by now. She walked over to where the fridge where they kept water was and took one. She took a sip from it before screwing the lid back on it.

Darren shrugged on his Dalton blazer and got to his feet when it was his cue. He clapped Riker on the shoulder as he passed, letting him know it was time to go. Riker stopped dancing and nodded. Darren grabbed three bottles of water and tossed one to Riker, the second to Jon and kept the third for himself. He took a sip and bounced on his toes a few time before heading to the door to make their way to the second stage where they needed to begin their performance.

Dianna watched as the warblers left and she went and stood with Amber who was humming to herself. She heard firework come to an end and knew the warblers would be on soon.

In the pitch dark, Darren ran up the steps with the others onto the second, smaller stage while the video recording of Jane was playing. He took his place--after a near miss walking too far forward and almost falling off the stage. He stood at the head of the triangle formation while he listene to Jane, he chuckled quietly at some of the things she said. "the only glee club with a stupider name than the New Directions...".

The lights illuminated 'B' stage and the Warblers were in their formation, watching the audience. "Hey, Las Vegas!" Darren greeted brightly. "What's going on?" He added as the Warblers began vocalising. "Before you met me, I was alright but things were kinda heavy, you brought me to life now every February, you'll be my valentine. Valentine."
